I think we should watch out for some mental HST bashers voting with their answers.... it could be more contraversial than mine....

There are some obvious liars in the 'girls' bit - some of those people are highly unlikely to have even touched one before :???:

Thank you for that indirect insult aimed at me.

All I can say is what a load of bollocks. :)

Without wanting to spoil the fun, those who make serious insults in this thread will find an infraction issued and/or their posts deleted/edited.

As an aside, how can anyone choose 'Trains and Girls/Boys,' surely there must be one that comes out on top :p

You obviously haven't encountered Captain Stoat... ;)

Oh and Ascot, you missed cats off your list :p

Bugger off Craig...That nickname is a tad old now, don't you think...

In any case, choosing trains over girls in one sense (it isn't necessarily the one I choose, but read me out on this) is easy. With trains you have none of the following:

Whinging
Moaning
Nagging
Crying
Saying one thing and meaning another
Bitchiness
Demanding attitude
Hair stylist appointments
Demanding personal space then as soon as the request is honoured out comes an outcry along the lines of 'Come back!'.
Jealousy
Anger
Drunkeness
Drugs
Cigarettes
STDs

There's probably more than I can think of to add to that list, but hey!

Now, remember, I said that's not necessarily what I choose. There is an upside to the risk of dealing with the above. It's a three-letter word which gets blocked if I type it, hence this sentence. It shouldn't take long for you to figure out what I mean.

There is something, though, this hobby and girls alike have in common

Constant drain on finances

My choice, therefore, in this poll? Contraversial? Might be Tom (yes I do know you were thinking of me with your post at the top of the thread. Mental HST basher sounds almost right)...

Trains? Girls? Trains AND girls? Oh come on, we ALL know that trains and girls do not go together. Why not? You can't have two constant drains of your finances at once for one thing. Then there's the jealousy factor with the girl. "Is he really going out trainspotting?" et al. And so on.

My choice is going to be perhaps obvious...Popular? No chance. Realistic? Definately.

EDIT: Besides, it says what do I like most. I do enjoy my hobby, that is obvious. But my answer to that is "why not?". If you're going to have a hobby, you might as well enjoy it!

Actually Julian - I was saying that my option was contraversial. ;)

The mental HST basher is only a joke. :)

I know that Tom. I was suggesting my answer might be contraversial too.

And for the mental HST basher thing, I was aware you were joking. I was merely playing along with it. Although quite frankly, yesterday's final HST bash must have been boring (actually it was, a pair of MTUs), I fell asleep between The Pattern Store Bar and East Usk Junction!

Well, for a start, you don't get all that crap from girls if you pick a nice one :p
I've never had a problem with girlfriends and trains.
And as VTDan said, you can't have *** with a train.

I've chosen the girls bit. Again, I've not once had troubles with her or trains...she actually thought it was cool and wanted to learn about them....but then she split with me last Friday so that buggered everything up!
