With an idle moment I thought that I would look at this this body designed to safeguard and protect travellers and to advise on issues.
their goals
According to their organisation chart organisation-chart-april-2013 they have up in Manchester amongst others reporting to the "Passenger Team Director (through a "Passenger Contact Team Leader") seven "Senior Passenger Team Advisers" but apparently no Advisers who are not "Seniors" except for a temp.
So I ask myself to whom are these people senior?"
Reporting to the same "Passenger Team Director" through a "Passenger Team Executive Team Leader" there are four "Passenger Team Executives"
Here I wonder what makes them "an executive" - what do they do?
Clerks by any other name?
Down in London there is reporting to the Chief Executive, Anthony Smith, a Head of Research who has just the one Senior Passenger Reseacher (again not one Passenger Researcher listed who is not a senior
) as well as five "Senior Reseach Advisors" although of the five two are, or were, not permanent although to be fair, bless her, there is one "Research Advisor" everyone else is apparently senior to.
Also in London is the "Head of Passenger Issues" and I thought that Mr Hewitson might be the person who would deal with the like of us with our questions about fares and routes - but I think not as he has reporting to him three "Passenger Issues Managers" although for some organisational/ ease of communications reason he keeps them (Guy Dangerfield, Sharon Hedges and Joceyn Pearson) tucked away with the Researchers and Passenger Managers up in Manchester.
So now you have some names to write to but the mystery remain with the staff being based in London and Manchester why is their contact address in Southend?

their goals
Passenger Focus is structured as an executive non-departmental public body, sponsored by the Department for Transport, with up to 14 board members.
The Railways Act 2005 abolished the regional Rail Passengers Committees and the former national Rail Passengers Council and a new organisation was created to represent the views of all rail passengers across Great Britain.
