Anybody got any details about running times for the above tour?

I am interested to see it on its way back through Sheffield/Chesterfield.

Thanks, Andy S

Thanks for the quick reply. I saw the times on the Pathfinder site but I have not seen timings on various other websites which are normally quite good for this info.

I do not want to drag my 9 year old out if the 37's are not there. He would not mind but the missus probably would.

If anyone can confirm these timings I would appreciate it.

Thanks Andy S

That's the departure time from Crewe where the train reverses and the 37 are added

Change of plan. The 37s are already on it. Apparently they will be taken off at Crewe.

Gen from Geordie:

"Warning 37601 & 611 very likely to work Bristol to Crewe only tomorrow. They do not have enough hours on the clock to work the tour as planned and the Serco train next week. No other 37s likely to feature I'm afraid"
.

Glad I stayed in Dublin and saved £79.

The haulage change wasn't that bad. Those getting on at Birmingham still got the 37's. Those of us on the Cross Country that was supposed to arrive in New Street 7 minutes before departure of the Ousing Dove but actually arrived 3 minutes AFTER departure were rather lucky that a) the special was a little late departing and B) it was in the adjacent platform. The sight of me running up and down trying to find an unlocked door must have been amusing to some.
And we got the entire distance down the Monk Bretton branch, right to the gates. Nice.
Two new tours announced on the train also. Appearing on the website today so they say, one around Didcot and Aberthaw Power stations as well as Appleford.

It was alright, a bit disappointing for me being in the front coach listening to the 66 all day but the weather was lovely and I certainly can't complain about going right to the boundary of the glass works.

Does anyone know the headcode of the light engine 60 from Wrenthorpe to Toton (or wherever it went)?

Thanks

Thanks for all the info.

Unfortunately, we were out most of the afternoon at Chesterfield and went straight to Sheffield without seeing the messages. Anyway, my lad was happy for the trip out. We managed to catch a HST from Chesterfield, the weather was glorious so 15 minutes with his head out of the window more than made up for the lack of 37's.

Cheers, Andy S

I was on the tour on Saturday and thouroughly enjoyed it. Bit of a farce at times with nobody knowing what the traction was going to be at various stages but at least the 37s did put in an appearence, even if not for as long as hoped.

Here's a few of the phots I took.
