Sadly not. I was considering the mini-tour, but I'm not paying £40 to go from York to Newcastle and back. I'll just hope the proposed class 37 tour in late November comes off and do the mini on that, including the Blyth and Tyne.

Saw this out of York northbound - what a beast! Sounded like both engines were running stood next to the open windows into the engine room, but couldn't see two exhaust plumes on departure. Running on one or two?
