I didn't, as I don't think it is valid from Penrith. It was a case of concurrent posting which led to me having to edit. Therefore, I think we are still at Oxenholme, as I don't think anything other than the sleeper misses Preston.

It's vice versa - it's valid from Penrith, but I'm not aware of anything going non-stop from Carlisle to Preston. (Note that neither of the ScotRail sleepers calls at both.)

However, as you wish... we are now at Preston (plenty of services southbound skip Lancaster).
