We were lined up for a few finishes, but doesn't seem so imminent now - got another 40 mins then got to call it a night, can we conjure a finish up in that time?

Think I'm going to call it a night for me with this move, as can't see a finish in next 20 mins without contriving something.

Notes
  • Only stations on the National Rail network are allowed
  • A direct train is a passenger service run by a National Rail TOC. The current timetable is used, and amendments for things like Engineering Work are ignored unless they are noted in the "Red List" of amendments in the next post, usually reserved for changes lasting longer than a month. You can ignore any pick up/set down only restrictions.
Please note this extract of the rules of this quiz, shown on the very first posting on the thread.

Hastings line is not on red list, so can use it. I was advised earlier in the week that seasonal closures do apply even if not on the red list. I don't agree with that really, as my interpretation of 'current timetable' would be the current timetable book, i.e. the 6 month period from late September is the current book, and the seasonal closures don't kick in till later, e.g. late October for Dunrobin Castle, so the station is in the current timetable book. Yet as a regular player - but not with any specific role - these minor points are a bit trivial and I'll just enjoy playing. Whatever the adjudicators who devote time to the game decide goes, although I would like to suggest for future the point about how to interpret current timetable is considered? So that we can use the seasonal closure stations if they appear in current timetable 6 monthly book if not on the red list.

Playing my next move. I won't be 'fast moving' this morning, and my friend can't join at the moment
