Points are deducted from the leg if a deadlock is reached before the penultimate move of a leg - if no-one posts this move within 3 hours then 20 points are deducted, and a further 20 are taken 3 hours after that. (This rule will not be enforced in the early morning from midnight to 9am, and a leg will never score negative points.)
Something to bear in mind.

Adjudicator and regular players, do we wish to re-visit this rule? People work, people have families, people have other hobbies, we can't be expected to be on here all the time. It seems a very unfair rule. I always go to bed at 10pm for example, and between 9 am and 5pm Monday to Friday I work - I may be on here briefly at lunch, but that's it. Maybe others are the same? I am not being critical - just wanting to make a suggestion, as it's important this game is fun and not pressure for us surely. I'd stop playing if the fact I cannot be here all the time was seen as an issue.

Anyway, while I wait for a response in due course on the point raised, Seaford is the end of the line.

So, the next leg starts at:

Bristol Temple Meads

It's a rather moot point anyway as the scores haven't been updated since March 2020 and show no sign of being updated.
