Apologies I hadn't realised Queen Street had been played, and in the 12 minutes between you alerting me to my win and becoming impatient I hadn't looked at the forum in order to set a new station. As there have been no moves and therefore no delay caused I shall post a new starting station of my own.

Apologies I hadn't realised Queen Street had been played, and in the 12 minutes between you alerting me to my win and becoming impatient I hadn't looked at the forum in order to set a new station. As there have been no moves and therefore no delay caused I shall post a new starting station of my own.

I left a shorter period of time than normal between declaring a win and posting an adjudicator's start for the following reasons:

• The post of Bishopbriggs had been posted nearly an hour and a half before, and nearly an hour and three quarters when I re-started the quiz. That is quite a gap in the middle of the day, so I thought it best to give other players the opportunity to play, if any were online.
• You were appearing offline to me, which led me to believe that you were away from the forum.

I'm always happy to provide reasons for my actions as adjudicator, but I'd rather it wasn't done after being accused of being impatient or similar.

As no moves happened on my adjudicators start, you are well within your rights to post a new starting point, as the winner of the leg. My start has been struckthrough.

Food for thought, it may be worth the Forum Quizmasters @fishquinn for example implementing a reasonable time span between a win being declared and a third party justifiably setting a new starting station should the winner be unavailable, perhaps a period of 1 hour? As previously, I'm happy to take this offline to discuss further so as not to hold up the running of the quiz.
