I assure you that not all the contributors (such as the ones you specifically draw reference to above) to this thread are "tarred with that particular brush".

You are correct in that any contributor cannot make two consecutive postings, as the second of those would be deemed invalid. That could also lead to a situation if the "consecutive postings" were NOT noted and the thread carried on then you would have the situation where a quiz adjudicator would then ask for all the affected postings to be deleted.

I am aware, which is why I continue to participate in the thread so that you, others and I can have a good game together. When played well, it is really fun! It just gets deeply tedious when there have been posts every 30 seconds or so and then a gap of an hour plus whilst everyone else waits to grab the points (it has happened twice to me today). It is particularly annoying when I keep ploughing on in that situation, knowing full well it is the penultimate station and there will be no chance of gaining the leg's points. I am in a discussion with the admins & moderators of this game about some new rules which might mitigate some aspects of point-grabbing behaviour, but not others.
