Temporary Line Closures/amendments:

The following may be regarded as 'out-of-bounds:'
Liverpool Lime Street engineering works:
  • Edge Hill to Liverpool South Parkway: closed until 13th July 2018.

Is it not the case that local stations between Liverpool Lime Street and Hunts Cross throughout the upgrade period of 2nd June to 29th July will only be served by regular high-quality rail replacement bus services?

I thought Merseyrail were still operating between Hunts Cross and Liverpool South Parkway?

There is supposed to be a Northern service from Liverpool Lime Street running non-stop to Liverpool South Parkway in the week of the 16th July....I believe it is right to continue for the moment with the current leg as the query raised is for the future after the 13th July, if @Paul Sidorczuk, as he raised the query, agrees we can.

Please do carry on. What I mentioned was something mentioning Hunts Cross that was in a 4pp cover wrap-around of the Metro paper which I needed clarification upon, especially the comment that the rail-replacement buses from Hunts Cross would be running throughout the entire period from 2nd June to 29th July.
