I appreciate there are those who espouse "fast posting sessions" but once a mistake enters the equation and then goes un-noticed, you then have the situation where one of the current quiz adjudicators has to call a hold on matters and ask that all postings "from point X to point Y" involved are to be struck-through. Didn't I actually provide the proof of @A Challenge's move being valid in the first instance, and call the 'hold' in the second instance? #BigUpBackontrack :D

Less flippantly - and more seriously - there do seem to have been more incorrect moves recently - perhaps stemming from the fact that we seem to have had a few new players joining in. This is fine (welcome to 'The next station is....!'), but it is worth noting that it doesn't cost much to be scrupulous and attentive when you make your moves. Although we do have 'adjudicators' on this game, it is still mainly a community obligation that moves are checked if there is any doubt that they are valid.

I have no doubt, however, that things will settle down once these new players are bedded in.

There is no problem with fast posting-sessions as long as people are attentive.
