Following concerns and queries being made, please be advised that a clarification has been made in the rules of the game. You may use any line which has a passenger service at least weekly - the appropriate section now reads as quoted.
Notes
  • Only stations on the National Rail network are allowed
  • A direct train is a passenger service run by a National Rail TOC. The current timetable is used, and amendments for things like Engineering Work are ignored unless they are noted in the "Red List" of amendments in the next post, usually reserved for changes lasting longer than a month. You can ignore any pick up/set down only restrictions.
  • You cannot use any freight lines, but you can use any line that has a passenger service at least weekly (not every 3rd Monday etc).
  • Moves must continue from the station last posted - you can't "walk" between adjacent stations, e.g. from West Hampstead to West Hampstead Thameslink.
We hope this assists game play, any queries please don't hesitate to get in touch with us.

GENERAL INFORMATION

RED SECTION UPDATE

The engineering work on the Merseyrail network was completed yesterday, and all services are back to normal.

There are currently no long term closures to list in the Red Section. :D

On the subject of services to Manchester United Footbal Club, as has been noted already, these have always been inadmissible on the quiz because they do not run regularly or to a published timetable.

And with that, gentlemen, I am off for a post-prandial stroll along the beach before the sun goes down. 8-) See you all next week!
