RED SECTION UPDATE

As you may have seen from the news today, the Settle to Carlisle line has now reopened in full following the landslide in February 2016.

The following is still 'off limits' at the moment:

James Street - Moorfields - Liverpool Lime Street - Liverpool Central - James Street: closed until Monday 29th May. (This is Phase 2 of ongoing works; further closures follow in Phase 3, details of which I shall advise nearer the time.)

Additionally, the new stations at Low Moor and Ilkeston both open on Sunday 2nd April. Be aware that the National Rail Timetable does not include details of the services from either of these stations (and, it turns out, neither do Northern's online timetables :roll:). Until this shambolic situation is rectified I suggest either Open Train Times or Realtime Trains for details.

The Red Section (on page 1 of the thread) will be updated shortly.
