Stations essentially on the same site but on split levels (such as London St Pancras, Liverpool Lime Street, Glasgow Central etc) are counted as one station.

Stations are counted as seperate if one has to walk or catch another form of transport to travel between them. As a general rule of thumb, stations are considered to be seperate from each other if they are identified with different names in timetables; Stratford and Stratford International or West Hampstead and West Hampstead Thameslink for example.

All trains using this line (to me) appear to be only two Saturday only fasts on Liverpool Lime Street to Liverpool (mainly they go via Grantham and down the ECML) that pass non-stop from Loughborough to Melton Mowbury, though I will still wait for an adjudication

I have checked Nail Rail enquiries and there are no services that run direct from Sileby to Melton Mowbray.

The services that use this routing are 2 daily EMT services from Derby to Corby and the odd late evening service from Nottingham to Peterborough. None of these services stop at Sileby. My understanding is that the latter services were to avoid closure proceedings for the Syston north curve and the former are recent additions to EMT services after the reopening of Corby station to place peak hour stock in the right position.
