GENERAL INFORMATION

RED SECTION UPDATES

Following the landslide in January, the Settle and Carlisle is still subject to long term closure as a through-route. However, trains are now operating between Appleby and Armathwaite, and the published timetables have been changed to reflect this. Therefore, the following sections may be considered 'out-of-bounds' on the quiz:

Armathwaite to Carlisle (closed until further notice.)
Dover Priory to Folkestone Central (closed until December 2016)
Glasgow Queen Street to Ashfield (closed until 7th August 2016 - further timetable changes apply during the Queen Street rebuilding works.)

Moorfields station is currently closed to northbound trains (from Hunts Cross towards Sandhills.)

Oxford Parkway to Oxford: this is now scheduled to open in December 2016.
