There are three trains per day from Wigan North Western to Westhoughton, all of which stop at Hindley first. However, there are two trains per day from Westhoughton non-stop to Wigan North Western. Perhaps that is where the confusion arrises - it is certainly an anomaly.

I hate to be the bringer of bad news, but there no services from Eccles to Deansgate. The Sunday services do run to south Manchester rather than Victoria, but they skip Deansgate and first stop is Manchester Oxford Road.

A typical commuter-belt part of north-west England

If the posting of Deansgate were to be struck-through, then there would be no need for any further amendments, as Manchester Oxford Road has already been posted.

Unfortunately that would result in two consecutive posts by your good self, so back to Eccles it is, I'm afraid.

I think for clarity posts #86631 to #86634 need to be struck-through.
