As it turns out, there is a direct service to Smethwick Rolfe Street, but only during engineering work, so that post remains invalid. But we might be able to use this in future...?

After a thorough search of all available timetables (including Network Rail's Working Timetable), I can find no services scheduled to run direct between the Chase Line and Smethwick Rolfe Street, so the answer to your question is no (at the moment at least.) Where have you got the information from?
