It is my opinion that the wording of the rules allows you to correct typos, provided you state that you are doing this in the edit description (or else ensure it is abundantly clear from the context). If the adjudicators hold a different opinion about this instance then that is for them to say.

In this case I also detect that HMS Ark Royal's original post seems to have not included the move "St Mary Cray", which may have been added after DasLunatic corrected his post. I cannot say if this is definitely the case.

However I will remind everyone, since it is relevant anyway, that if this were the case then it would be in technical breach of the rules, and that adding a move to an extant post should only be done by replying (and if necessary thereby activating the 'double post prevention system') and not by editing. This takes no extra effort and saves confusion, so do it!

Whilst I would love to activate the double post prevention system, my browser keeps crashing whenever I attempt to do so - adding the station as an edit seems to be the only way around it

If you decide that the thread is quiet enough to risk that, I recommend you timestamp it in the post (as well as in the edit) so e.g. "ADDED 15:32 - Oxted". It is then clearly your responsibility to refresh the page a couple of times to make sure no-one has crossposted and that there is no confusion. Or try a better browser...!

Additional note: I have just updated the red list; the route via Bicester Town is now open but only to Oxford Parkway and not all the way to Oxford. The date for the Farnworth tunnel completion has moved forward slightly to 14th Dec.
