Not to my knowledge, although I've only ever passed through the area on a Pendy from Manchester Piccadilly (and even then it ran via Wilmslow). Certainly want to ride on a fabled Class 323, though.

I'm sure Tim and Paul will be able to offer guidance about this area of 'East' Cheshire.

I believe one has to remove one's flat cap at the county boundaries, and continue wringing it until one leaves Cheshire. Additionally, should a passenger embark at certain stations, one is expected to tug one's forelock. (The latter presents a bit of an issue to me these days! )
