Haven't we still got Bath and Keynsham
Indeed, Freshford isn't a winner. I would appreciate if somebody could double check that there isn't a way out from Avoncliff.

Simultaneous posting strikes again. In that case, I make it we are still at Freshford.

Temporary disruptions, such as landslips or flooding, should be ignored unless the disruption period exceeds one month.

In the event of long-term engineering works, these should be ignored unless they span a timetable period and are noted in the National Rail Timetable. Station closures less than a month long should also be ignored.

When noting current engineering works that MAY be felt to qualify to be entered in the RED SECTION, can I ask that these two sections of the quiz rules are taken into consideration BEFORE such action is taken

Paul,
That is a very good point. I note from tables 123 and 125 of the NRT that the timetable spans through from May to December, with no special timetable period for the works.

Fair point.

The disruption is due to last 4-6 weeks.

I flagged it up when at work as I'd noticed it when coming in to Reading and with the start at Melksham, I couldn't check the GBTT, only FGW's website and thought it prudent to raise it.

Should I remove the closure from the list then? It is right on the boundary of the time interval that seems to be the cutoff, so I would appreciate a very quick community ruling on whether including it is in the spirit of the rules or not.

Edit: Now removed.

There are PMs flying round as we speak Oxted.

Meanwhile, I would say that if any players have any views on this, please do let us know.
