I seem to have made a bit of an error here. Not a good couple of days on my part.

Largs... and a not-so Largs amount of points.

I fancy a quickie round, so the next game begins at Sandown.

Smallbrook Junction does not have a regular service, so is not a valid move. Trains only stop when IOW Railway is in steam

I trust this actually has a weekly service these days, and thus valid for the game.

I think the discussion on this was similar to that of the southbound stop at Bordesley with Birmingham home games.

It'll also be open for the entire summer break because of the IoWSR so is valid until the end of August. Clagmonster wins... before I could even post

Looking at table 167, it is valid until December and so the IOW Railway would need to be in steam the same day every week from 17/05/15 to 12/12/15 to be valid in my opinion as the trains stopping are not dated.

The calls for the Birmingham City home games, together with those for Manchester United for that matter, do not appear in the NRT. Smallbrook Jn calls do, but with a footnote which states: "Smallbrook Jn. is only open for access to the
I.O.W Steam Railway. For days of operation
please enquire locally."
http://www.iwsteamrailway.co.uk/opening-times.aspx shows services running at least one day per week until the start of November.

Looking at the IOWSR timetable, there are 3 Sundays in November where there are no services, so I would argue that it is not valid as you cannot get there throughout the validity of the GBTT.

By my reckoning, Battersea Park-Wandsworth Road should score a parly rather than a long wait.

I agree with the adjudication that Smallbrook Junction should not be allowed in the quiz due to it receiving a less than weekly service.

Oops! ;)

I take it you will bring your own petard Clagmonster. ;) :)

That's like saying that you can't have Eccleston Park, for example, because it doesn't get a sunday service.
It has a timetabled service which runs at least weekly. Smallbrook Jn does not, now we don't have a May and September timetable change.

Tonight I am playing badly enough it reminds me of City in the late 90s. You finding that really did make me laugh.

Where would you like me to light the fuse on the petard.
