Thanks to the late Ray Moore, Gatport Airwick is a recognised alternative name for Gatwick Airport, whereas others may not be. There used to be an accepted alternative name for Thorpe Bay on here, but that has fallen into mis-use.

A note from the rules, and I apologise for the use of Gatport Airwick
When submitting a station, you must use the full station name. All entries on this quiz must be in the English version of the station name, as those in the Welsh or Scottish Gallic spelling can be confusing to other contestants, who may not know where a correct answer has been given. If there is only one name, officially recognised by National Rail Enquiries, then this should be used. All entries should be easily distinguishable from any other text to avoid confusion, by either bold typeface or leaving an empty line either side.

Any stations which are pick-up or set-down only count as normal stops to avoid confusion.

Nobody wants to post Redhill because they're worried that we'll end up on the line to Guildford again...

We seem to end up chugging around Dorking and Wokingham every other leg.

Welcome back Buttsy, I hope you enjoyed your holiday, which judging by your signature presumably encompassed Lancashire in some way. I didn't really object to Gatport Airwick, I liked the reference and the meaning is clear.

Mainly south Cumbria, stayed in Arnside. Had some good clag too as 37s top & tailed a few trains when I was up there.

I do approve of a good politically sound holiday plan that involves something decent on a service train. A rat would be even better, but you can't have it all.
