The only way to avoid this finale is to play Peterborough (parly I guess as there is only one train that uses Ely avoiding curve) from Thetford

Another way to avoid the madness is to start the leg at Shippea Hill (parly)

I forgot about the train around the Ely West Loop, and didn't realise it called at Thetford but not Brandon. Very generous telling me that, thanks (though if you play it right you just prolong the agony. At least Manea doesn't score a bonus anymore).
