At the current point in time, there are no direct services between Burnley Manchester Road and Rose Grove stations (Blackpool North to York service operated by Northern Rail) but when the proposed "Todmorden Chord" service between Blackburn and Manchester eventually starts in December 2014, it is proposed that this new service will serve both of these two railway stations then.
