The next leg will start at Harlech

At the start of a game, the OP(at the very beginning or if necessary) or the player who previously ended a leg of the journey, will choose a starting station (unless the player has called an open floor, in which any player can choose a starting station) that adheres to the following criteria:

It is on NR rails (or Merseyrail)
It is not just a terminal station (There are two or more different stations that can be reached from it, on separate lines.)
It is not the same station as the one which ended the previous leg.

...
Temporary Line Closures/amendments:
During the present period, the following lines are deemed closed and therefore cannot represent a valid move.
  • Harlech - Pwllheli - (until at least Dec 2014)
  • Oxford - Bicester Town - (until summer 2015)
As Harlech is currently considered the terminus of the Cambrian route, would I be correct in thinking that it doesn't match the second criterion required to be a starting station? It is effectively currently a terminus.

I think you will find that the matter of temporary termini were discussed in 2013 and it was decided to allow these TEMPORARY ones to be used. This is the very reason why this station was chosen.

A precedent already exists in 2014....please refer to posting # 59170 (27th May 2014) where Harlech was indeed used as a starting station for a new leg.
