The train you linked to stops at Goostrey, Chelford, Alderley Edge, Wilmslow, Handforth, Cheadle Hulme, Stockport and Heaton Chapel between Holmes Chapel and Levenshulme. I suspect you are confusing Holmes Chapel and Heaton Chapel.
