I have a few questions regarding this:
1) If the last post on the 30th of April is on LT metals, and there is no move using a BR service (eg if at 23:59 on the 30th of April a contestant plays Canons Park), what happens to that round. Is it:
a) abandoned,
b) won by the player playing Canons Park
c) carried on on LT metals, using the first available interchange to BR?

2) Are the Bakerloo and Met stations at Edgware Road to be considered separate stations? Similarly the District and Met stations at Hammersmith.

3) What interchanges are considered valid at Kings Cross / St. Pancras. In normal game play, they have always been treated as separate stations, but as they both have the same Underground station as part of the complex (ie it is possible to transfer from St Pancras BR to Kings Cross St. Pancras LU without the aid of a walk between stations, as it is from Kings Cross BR). By an extension of this logic, if transfer between BR and LUL is permitted at this station, is transfer between say the ECML and MML permitted (an example sequence of moves would be:
Finsbury Park
Kings X St Pancras complex
Kentish Town)?

Thanks for any adjudication, I think it best to ask the question now rather than problems breaking out during gameplay.

1) Whilst, to avoid the problem entirely we could just say don't go there on that evening, I would say the best approach would be to allow a 'grace period,' so that, after midnight has past, the current leg may be allowed to continue in whatever way. Once that leg has finished, then we revert to the normal rules.

2) In personal opinion I would say the latter qualifies as a single station, so for argument's sake, movement is allowed

3) All possible movements are allowed, but please state if you are to walk between the two stations.

After some thought upon the matter, it appears that there are still 21 full days in the month of April to go and as you quite rightly say, at present we are 200 miles away from the area affected by the areas that are covered by the London Underground, the Docklands Light Railway and the Tramlink. A thought has occurred to me as to a possible reason for the departure from the normal rules of this particular quiz has been stated and that The Transport Game quiz has just been relaunched and the TfL abovementioned three modes of travel would indeed be eminently suitable on that quiz, but most certainly not on this one.

This quiz has now had well over 57,000 posting entries made upon it since inception and has stood the test of time well without the need of recourse to any such unsolicited and extraneous changes of rule, even for a 21 day period.

I have come up with a possible resolution that will possibly help during these 21 days and that is to superimpose an area that encompasses the London Underground, Dockland Light Railway and the Tramlink upon a heavy-rail map of the said affected region. All that needs to be done for the next 21 days is to totally avoid that area including all of the heavy rail railway stations, when postings are being made. There are enough areas of England, Wales and Scotland that can be used until the day of 1st May actually arrives and this "sword of Damocles" that is now currently hanging over this quiz, wielded by the Angel of Death (for those of you conversant with the writings of Dennis Wheatley) will have been consigned to Hades.

I know that this will exclude many of the heavy rail railway stations in the Greater London area, but it will be a price well worth paying for this albeit short period of time. One particular worry is that should some of our infrequent contestants decide to make postings upon this quiz in the next 21 days, they may not be aware of this "short-period amendment" to the rules of the quiz.

This particular quiz first began its life on 27th October 2011 and was still very much a fluid state in the January 2012 time period to which you allude above but you note that no less than 27 months have now elapsed since that period of time, during which it has matured and seem a goodly number of rules updates since that period that were made to cater for queries that had arisen from time to time.
