Ipswich

long wait or parly?
Long wait I'd say, it actually serves a purpose and happens a couple of times a day rather than being run for the railway's convenience.

When submitting a station, you must use the full station name. All entries on this quiz must be in the English version of the station name, as those in the Welsh or Scottish Gallic spelling can be confusing to other contestants, who may not know where a correct answer has been given. If there is only one name, officially recognised by National Rail Enquiries, then this should be used.

General information purposes only

For the sake of good order, I am showing the section of the rules of this quiz as a posting on the last leg featured a posting of Harwich Parkeston Quay, which is not the station name recognised by National Rail Enquiries.

I am fully aware that challenges are now not allowed to completed legs, that being the latest rule amendment, but I really do feel that we should try to be careful to ensure that the names of railway stations that we post are those recognised by National Rail Enquiries.

Indeed Paul. I think the main intention of the rule is to avoid people getting an advantage by abbreviating a station name in order to get in quick, but in some cases does prevent confusion. In this case, I admit that I forgot the name of the station had changed, and can only apologise for any inconvenience cause to Robinson.
