Hang on a second - I've just looked it up, and the Robin Hood is completely closed by the works at Nottingham. It's replacement buses running on the line for the duration of the closure. Do treat my Whitwell and M77's Creswell as valid, or are we going to have to pull back to Worksop?

The National Rail Timetable has separate dated tables covering the Nottingham blockade. Therefore, as at present there is no timetabled service to Nottingham (apart from some services from Skegness until Friday), for the duration of the blockade Nottingham is in my opinion not a valid answer, apart from when the limited Skegness services operate.

clagmonster made this adjudication posting just as the July Nottingham station blockade (20th July to 25th August) first commenced, which considering that he is not here to make the required adudication, is a most apt time to use it again on the current query.

Time to request an adjudication from one of the senior posting figues on this quiz.

Since no-one has come back to the quiz, it appears that I will have to make the adjudication,

Since Sheffield has already been posted previously in the quiz and all the stations leading up to Darnall have all been named, there are no unusual services running from Darnall that run fast past any of these, I therefore declare harry42 to be the winner of that last leg.

Rule 5a.

When a player reaches the station at the end of a line, or if there are no more valid routes out of the station, the amount of stations called at on the journey will be added to their name in a table to be produced monthly. These are called "leg-winner points" The player at the station then chooses the next starting station, although they cannot play until 3 other correct submissions have been received or 15 minutes have elapsed, whichever is sooner.

I have shown this extract from the quiz rules as guidance for any new contestants who have been the winners of a leg. Please note the section that refers to leg winners having to wait before making a new posting to the one they used to start a new leg.
