It's not specifc to the sleepers, the issue is with departing stations that are set down only and arriving at stations that are pick-up only. The rules do not clearly state that you may not do this and there is prescedent for this as can be seen from the link I posted.

Where there is a precedent on an ambiguous rule, I always tend to follow the precedent unless there is a subsequent clarification from Adtrainz. I shall try to seek such clarification.
