Thank you for that updated information, but just for the quiz purposes (and also for my sister-in-law who first raised this query after a discussion with a local farmer there) we will need to know what actual date to apply, should this station come up on the quiz in that month

Seems to be November 4 this year.

For reference Clitheroe to Hellifield stops on October 7 (earlier than usual due to engineering work the following weekends) and Dunrobin Castle will close on October 28.

Also of note, Liverpool Central Northern line services will start again on October 22 (Wirral line services are already operating), and James Street is westbound only until January 7 (i.e., trains run straight from Hamilton Square to Moorfields, then Lime Street, Central, James Street and back to Hamilton Square).
