London Cannon Street
--- old post above --- --- new post below ---
I believe that everything leaving Cannon Street stops at London Bridge. If that is the case, I have just won. Therefore, unless anybody objects, the next game will start at Ardgay.

This is (annoyingly :P) true, I've checked. There is a working nonstop from Orpington to Cannon Street that I can't tell whether it's a passenger service or not (its headcode is 3F65, which makes no sense).
A class 3 is an ecs with greater priority than a bog standard class 5 ecs. I presume it is in the evening peak?

Presumably geography. There are very few fast freights (I think only a couple of Wembley - Mossend), there is unlikely to be a fast freight appearing in the SE Division suburban area in rush hour.

Go back about fifteen years though and there were quite a few mail trains although I'm not sure if there were any in that area.
