I really did have to go when I did...even with so many points at stake and the chance of a third member joining us. I am now somewhat concerned that the number of regular contributors to this quiz is down to three. Zoe was very kind to make a goodly amount of postings on a leg where a new start station was nominated by one member, then two more members made a single posting, leaving the quiz in a state of limbo, but that was not until I had sent PM to certain past members of this quiz, asking if they could contribute a posting to help to move matters onwards.

I think there was a way out using the north curve, but I shall have to say Heysham Port.

Am I the only one to admit to the existance of Kents Bank and Cark & Cartmel ?
They have been used before, in fact I think somebody won at one of them once (some trains call at one but not the other, somebody, used a skip stopping service, perhaps by accident due to near simultaneous posting and then someone pounced.

Thanks for that clarification. Since I cancelled my last posting some hours ago, I can still make a new posting, as no-one else has made one......
