Well in that case, the Halton Curve (Chester to Runcorn direct, summer Saturday mornings only) is not valid in winter either! And we've used that loads of times recently.


I think we need some clarification here.

2. You cannot use any freight lines, but you can use any line that has a passenger service at least weekly (not every 3rd Monday etc). Fast services are allowed, subject to rule 4.

There is the quote from rule 2, Clitheroe to Hellifield does not have a weekly service, as least not in the winter. Had I seen the Halton curve used, I would have objected at the time, sadly I either didn't notice or I wasn't online at the time.

It seems that pre-Decomber time this was accepted. Manchester United Halt has also fallen for similar reasons.
