RED SECTION UPDATE

A limited train service (Sundays only at the moment) has resumed between Morecambe and Heysham Harbour, and accordingly is now a valid move again.


The Liverpool Lime Street modernisation works moves into its final phase tomorrow (Saturday 14th.) Therefore, until Sunday 29th July, the following changes apply:

• Liverpool Lime Street to Huyton: closed
  
• Liverpool Lime Street to Liverpool South Parkway: closed
• Northern will only operate trains that call at all stations between Manchester Victoria and Huyton, and between Wigan North Western and Huyton.
  
• No TransPennine Express services between Manchester Victoria and Liverpool Lime Street.
• East Midlands Trains, Virgin Trains and London Northwestern Railway services will terminate at/start from Liverpool South Parkway instead of Lime Street.

Merseyrail services through Liverpool Lime Street remain unaffected by this closure.
