The Caledonian Sleeper calls at Edinburgh first, does it not?
Not a passenger stop. I don’t know if it stops after Edinburgh though?

Doesn't the Highland Sleeper stops at Preston first?London Euston (parliamentry bonus)
According to RTT, that’s a temporary diversion down the ECML. Seeing as an adjudication has been made, we’re at Warrinton Bank Quay.

Perhaps this is an opportune time to draw the attention of newer contestants to the Guide Notes section of the rules of the quiz.....particularly the emboldened SECOND section item of the four items shown above.Guide Notes
- Only stations on the National Rail network are acceptable to be used.
- The current timetable is used, and amendments for things like Engineering Work are ignored unless they are noted in the "Red List" of amendments in the second posting of the thread, usually reserved for changes lasting longer than a month.
- You cannot use any freight lines, but you can use any line that has a passenger service at least weekly (not every 3rd Monday etc).
- Moves must continue from the station last posted - you can't "walk" between adjacent stations, e.g. from West Hampstead to West Hampstead Thameslink.
I thought as much.Perhaps this is an opportune time to draw the attention of newer contestants to the Guide Notes section of the rules of the quiz.....particularly the emboldened SECOND section item of the four items shown above.
We continue from Inverkeithing...
North Queensferry
Thank you for this. The call at Edinburgh is not a public one, so we need to consider whether the train calls at Preston or goes direct to Euston via ECML. I disagree with the user of the word "Parliamentary" in the post; it is nothing to do with that. It is due to engineering works on Sunday nights. Normally these are ignored. However in this case it is for over a month, so the rule above suggests that it may be OK in this case.
Thank you for this adjudication, that clears some stuff up. Similar situations with the sleeper have come up before, so I hope that this is the end of it and that a precedent can be set.ADJUDICATION
Inverkeithing to London Euston is perfectly valid (and scores a Long Wait Bonus.) London Euston to Warrington Bank Quay was subsequently played, and thence to Runcorn East, from where play continues.
Runcorn East
I think that stopped running some time in the last decade.I think that there's an early morning parliamentary service to Walsall direct
