Walsall-Birmingham International trains?

I seem to remember that this has come up before, and that the source of information regarding the supposed service was Wikipedia. Although it can be a useful source of information, Wiki is not wholly to be trusted as being completely up-to-date - especially in relation to unusual routes, and irregular or 'Parly' services. It is generally best to double check a timetable first to make sure the service does actually run. Real Time Trains is perhaps the easiest way of checking, using the advanced filter options.

RED SECTION UPDATE

The Red Section on page 1 of the thread has already been updated to reflect the reopening of the West Coast Main Line north of Carlisle.

Llandudno Junction to Blaenau Ffestiniog has today reopened, and so is no longer on the 'no-go' list.

However, the situation with the landslide on the northern Settle to Carlisle Line has worsened, with National Rail Enquiries advising that the line will remain closed until further notice.

Therefore, the following may be regarded as off-limits until further notice:

* Carlisle to Appleby
* Dover Priory to Folkestone Central

Additionally, as a clarification, the following also applies:

Moorfields station is closed to southbound services from Sandhills towards Hunts Cross. This is until April 2016. Other services at Moorfields are unaffected.

Combe and Finstock are indeed Parly Bonuses rather than Long Wait - having just checked the timetable properly they are rather more poorly served than I thought.
