According to Wikipedia, despite the name Watford suggesting a central location, it is some distance from Watford town centre compared with the town's other stations, Watford High Street and Watford Junction.

8. IN THE EVENT OF A WRONG ANSWER:

If a submission to the quiz is incorrect, but there have been no further posts, the author may edit their post, so long as the original is shown as crossed out.

If there have been further posts, either of two circumstances should occur;
i) The author states their position, thus making any posts after the original superfluous. The original incorrect answer should be crossed out. The game is then continued by a different individual, starting from the station before the incorrect submission.
ii) Another individual states their suspicion, which is then confirmed by another player. Anyone is then welcome to continue the game, again starting from the station before the incorrect submission. Again, the incorrect answer should be crossed out.

If the post is edited, then it will be assumed that the entry has been changed, unless a clear reason is posted in the... err... reason box.

The section of the rules which states that an incorrect submission should be "struck through" is detailed above, in response to the query just raised as why this should be so.

In case anyone was in any doubt, the reason you need to leave incorrect answers in but scrubbed out is to give me/anyone else a snowballs chance of working out what the heck just happened. I have no intention of pouring over maps/timetables for hours when something goes wrong.

If you can, try and only edit your post to scrub something out, please consider testing the power of the double post prevention system otherwise, even if it takes that bit longer...
