I'm wondering which stretch of line on this game has been done the most in its entire history.

We go into the north-west a lot of the time, so I'd say on of the lines out of Piccadilly to either Oxford Road or Stockport.

All places down south, which probably represents the fact that most of us (me included) are disgruntled northerners. And, to be fair, I like not having it always down south.

As time constraints permit, I am in the process of mapping our journeys on this thread - but it's gonna take a while! We do go on many journeys around the old Network South East area a lot, particularly Thameslink. The only pattern which has emerged so far are that journeys originating in East Anglia tend to be the shortest; those that originate in Northern-Land and Scotland tend to be the longest. The South West of England does seem to be under-represented though.

Not wishing to be unkind, but in the early days on this quiz, any attempt to start off from the extreme south of Cornwall in the hope of seeing a leg of reasonable length was immediately thwarted by a quick diversion up the many Cornish branch lines. just to gain easy points.

I have checked matters and the two late services from Knottingley that stop at Streethouse, actually make an intermediate stop at Wakefield Kirkgate before arriving at Wakefield Westgate.

I therefore declare the posting of Wakefield Westgate to be invalid and the previous posting of Streethouse that was made by Buttsy to be the last valid posting made.
