Incidentally, has there ever been a direct service from East Midlands Parkway to Attenborough in recent times ?

Isn't the Nottingham blockade on at the moment and so nothing is coming in from the west? Doesn't this negate your move until this concludes on 25/08/13 under the rules?

There are 2 services the other way, from Attenborough to East Mids Parkway, hence my thinking that it was valid...

Temporary disruptions should be ignored unless the scheduled service becomes indefinitely suspended (until further notice).

As the disruption at Nottingham is only a temporary disruption of some five weeks commencing on 20th July with a definite end date of 25th August known and being nowhere as long as the long-running works that affect the low-level stations at Liverpool in length, so that is why I felt that Nottingham was in order to use.

Can we have an official adjudication on the matter of Nottingham station and the current five-week short-term temporary works, please.

Not sure if I was clear. The move has been made from Attenborough to East Midlands Parkway a number of times in the past, so I thought the reverse move was legitimate, but it turns out not to be. One of those odd services that only stop in one direction.

The National Rail Timetable has separate dated tables covering the Nottingham blockade. Therefore, as at present there is no timetabled service to Nottingham (apart from some services from Skegness until Friday), for the duration of the blockade Nottingham is in my opinion not a valid answer, apart from when the limited Skegness services operate.

Therefore, from Beeston I shall play Attenborough.
