To Clarify Clue 1, due to a bizzare Kink in the County Boundary, Kings Sutton Station is (by literally a few hundred Yards) actually in Northamptonshire, as opposed to Oxfordshire, which many people assume.

It's not bizarre. The whole village is in Northants. Boundary effectively follows the Cherwell. Expansion of Banbury to claim that side of the river I think happened in 1888. Aynho Wharf - which used to have a station is also in Northants. Although since the county went broke I think it is technically 'West Northants'.
