That's a really good clue, I am guessing it's in the now abolished constituency of then PM James Callaghan, Cardiff South East, so the obvious station is Cardiff Bay, but I could still be wrong, open floor if correct.

I think it must be actually. I had thought about the PM being either Alec Douglas-Home or Gordon Brown, but all stations that were/are in their constituencies have more than 1 platform, unless I've missed one...
