Clue 3: This station is served by HSTs and more than 1 class of multiple unit. The classes of multiple unit normally seen here were all built by Bombardier or predecessors thereof.

You find 168, 220 & 221 at Banbury which fits clue 3 but I was a bit hesitent about 165s, though BREL York did go to ABB which became part of Adtranz and finally Bombardier, tenuous link at best.

Very well then...

Worcester Shrub Hill - served by GWR HSTs and LM 170s

Unfortunately also a penalty, as Shrub Hill is also served by various Sprinter classes and the Alstom-built 180s.

As a reasonable amount of time has passed, I shall move things on.

Clue 4: This station has had a direct London service at some point in the privatisation era, but has none at present.

The only place I can think of is Burton-on-Trent, XC 220,221,170 + HST and formerly had a once a day EMT service to St Pancras.

A different way of getting to Burton-on-Trent.

Moving on to the next round, Clue 1: This station is north of Lancaster.

Guide Bridge is south of Lancaster, or is was this evening when I went through there. Anyway, Clue 3: The station has services to the other guess, namely Glasgow Central.

It would have been ironic if I had picked Carstairs or Dunbar, the former is the closest station to where I am right now and I passed through the latter earlier in the afternoon.
Clue 5: The station is an interchange onto with a ferry.

One guess per clue only!
--- old post above --- --- new post below ---
Since the floor appears to still be open, I'll set one. Can everyone please double check that they are familiar with the rules of this game? There have been several instances recently of players providing more than one guess per clue; there have also been one or 2 cases where Turn Players have gone beyond the required 5 clues...

Clue 1: This station is not served by rolling stock built by Siemens.
