Recap of clues, plus the final one:-

1: This station has direct trains to Manchester, Birmingham & London
2: This station is electrified at 25kV.
3: There are four platforms.
4: Almost all (but not 100% of) passenger calls are normally booked for electric trains.

5: Class 323 EMUs regularly terminate here.

Lichfield Trent Valley is the answer.

Apologies for the incorrect clue regarding number of platforms (my Quail Track Map showed p.3 and 4 on the high level route, whereas the National Rail Enquiries map now shows only p.3 in use). The single diesel train stopping at LTV is 1K77, VT's 2200 Euston - Crewe which is normally scheduled for a Voyager.
