4)I see only a handful of DMUs pass through and 4 Diesel (passenger) locos per day. The locos either originate or terminate at a capital city (and not the one I have direct trains to)

Considering that I live in Strathclyde, I'm surprised that I have no idea where this could be :| I expect when the answer is revealed I will either be kicking myself or appealing for a dud clue penalty...
