Blackfriars has a total of 6 platforms, 4 BR and 2 District. Sorry if the wording of clue 4 was not clear.

Clue 5:
This station, which opened in the post privatisation era, used to have a scheduled Cross Country service pass through.

Shepherd's Bush?
I'm not sure what do do in this position. You have the right answer, but crossed it out.

I would point out that the rules prohibit providing two guesses to a conundrum.

Sorry for the complete cock-up. I hadn't been aware that what I did was against the rules. Immediately after I had posted West Brompton, I noticed I missed half the clue, of the opening of the station. Not knowing when this station opened, I struck through this post within a minute, afterwards posting the one I'd choose, having read the full clue.

I wasn't making two guesses. That's why I struck it through, because I was staying at a hostel opposite Shepherd's Bush a few months before the opening, so I remembered that that was post-privatisation.

Southern442 posted "South Ruislip" after your clue 4, which he corrected to Tottenham Hale a few posts later, probably due to him noticing it should have no DMU services.

This made me without thinking assume I could change it too, especially since I did it so quickly. But apparently, I've made a mess for now, for which I apologise. I'll leave it to you (or quizmasters) to decide on what to do, but I didn't mean to do it this way. :/

If nobody had got the answer, it would have been my shout. I am going to state that if that is the adjudication, then I would call open floor.

There aren't really adjudicators on this quiz, so I am quite happy to say the possibilities are Quakkerillo's floor or open floor, you did, after all, get the right answer.

I suppose I should appologise in that the clue was slightly ambiguous as the District Line was already open, but it opened as a BR station post-privatisation. Accidents happen with the rules, I always say, we were all new to these games once.

Then I'd say give it an Open Floor.

I've now fully read the rules. Didn't know there were so many here, even more than on the 'next station' one. I'll try to win my turn to set one properly. ;)
Once again, sorry.
