Correct.

Apologies for the ambiguous clue, I didn't think of Gary's interpretation. The intention was for it to be the closest station to a particular football league ground, in this case Fratton Park. I would suggest the closest station to any football league ground would be the Manchester United Halt at Old Trafford, the closest with a regular service would probably be Falmer or Horwich Parkway, unless I am missing one (how close is St. James Park, I require the ground tick having somehow missed it when Hull City AFC were in the fourth division).

Good call with St James's Park, I'd say that was the closest by some distance.

Clue 3: I have direct services to an airport, but there are airports closer to me than this one which I do not have direct services to.

I reckon that this is the station furthest north that is still east of Victoria. It also meets clue 3.

This one's confusing me. Does Norwich have direct trains to an airport (Stansted?) while being nearer to Norwich airport? But the questioner said nearer to airports. I was thinking of Tottenham Hale until it had to have terminal platforms.

I wondered about that, but I'm not sure whether Allerton and Ratcliffe East Midlands Airport Parkway really count as airports, seeing as they are a bus/taxi ride away. That said, all my other ideas involve one of them as the airport.

I think it has trains to Liverpool South Parkway which just counts as an 'airport' connection.

I will await clarification on such stations (its still Allerton to me) airport connectivity for the purpose of the clue before posting my idea.

Yes, I think the Norwich-Liverpools stop at Allerton these days. I think there may be a couple booked to go Syston curve and call at the new shack at Ratcliffe for taxis to East Mids too.

Thinking outside the box! I like it! :D

True, Stansted Airport does not have direct services to its nearest airport station, Stansted Airport... it wasn't the answer I was looking for, but it's that type of thinking that you need.

Am I meant to reveal the answer now, or should I give a sixth clue?
