That was a bit of a punt, I was in two minds between that and Hadfield. Also, both are actually still in Derbyshire, but GM tickets are accepted.

Clue 1:
This station is not scheduled to be served by class 153s.

It had 2 when I was there in 1991...Have things changed in the last 22 years??? ;)

I'd go with Crianlarich, but it was only in the Sprinter era that trains divided there and on summer Saturdays rarely did.

I would agree with you because the last time I went there (a few months ago) all the trains went to Oban and Mallaig, dividing at Crianlarich. But recently there has been a few extra services running to Oban only, that don't divide there.

But the sleeper service to Fort William has, AFAIK, never divided or joined at Crianlarich but has always called.
