I'm wondering what the other unit that comes through is. Unless it means the Riviera of course...

Presumably the 332 is what is meant by "can call". I had assumed it meant 180, because I forgot about the Riviera until I was writing this post >.>

166s call fairly regularly at Hayes. 332s can call, but rarely do (I presume it can and does happen on rare occasions). 180s are also used by Grand Central and Hull Trains. The up/down midnight is most definately not a unit.

You presume wrong. I was referring to the 166s as the can calls, because I think that theres some peak workings that skip Hayes and run fast to somewhere like Maidenhead. I meant the 332s as the ones that never call, because, as far as I know, its operationally completely seperate from the Heathrow Connect, hence assumed that they would not be permitted to release the doors except in emergencies, and therefore, in my opinion would not be considered to call.

I can't think of too many places which are served by exactly two, though. Especially if you add the 320s to your list

I'm thinking that its somewhere on the southern part of the Argyle Line, but not sure which.

I'll say Airbles. Don't think Burley fits - I think Northern send any Neville Hill based EMUs round the Wharfedale.

Airbles is served by 318s, 320s and occasionally also by 334s.
Newton-on-Ayr is served only by 380s.
Come to think of it, I think Helensburgh Central and Craigendoran were the only Strathclyde stations that would have fitted (and that's assuming there's never been a 318 on the Mon-Fri 0753 and 0800 departures and/or the 1759 and 1820 arrivals).

The correct answer was Baildon. Served by 322s and 333s during normal operation; if there is a booked 321 diagram, however, I will hold my hands up and take the 6-point hit.

I've definitely caught 321s out of Guiseley, albeit heading towards Leeds rather than Forster Square. I believe that it only happens as an emergency thing if a booked 322 or 333 fails.
