Clue 4: You can change once from this station and travel on to one of 2 London Terminals. Precisely 1 other capital city in Great Britain is also 1 change away.

I think the Far North line is 158 only, so I'm going to say Conon Bridge (Change at Inverness for King's Cross, Euston and Edinburgh)

Clarification request: Do you mean it is served only by rolling stock over 20 years old, or just some/most services?

I'm going to say that 20 is a typo, I had meant to put 30, but that doesn't make the clue any less true in this case. Aside from that, I'm going to leave it for the reader to decide <D
